What is the plan?

Working with each vendor individually, you will plan the individual elements of your wedding weekend. Our dashboard’s vendor notes and worksheets will assist you in having comprehensive discussions with each vendor in order to finalize your vendor service plans, and we will schedule your site visit so that you can review and confirm the decisions that you have made.

Your wedding day is almost here! Six weeks before your wedding, we will review all of the decisions, contracts and timelines and make any adjustments that are necessary based on your final guest list. You will send out your final “All Parties” communication and worksheets, make or schedule your final payments and finalize all of your to-do, packing and shipping lists. Best of all, you will create your final wedding workbook for easy reference while you are in your destination, and focus on the amazing experience that getting married surrounded by the friends and family you love will be!

We will further expand on the work you did in section six to further personalize the food and beverage, décor elements and individual elements and moments in the day. Throughout this section, we will focus on the “extra special touches” that will wow your guests, and reflect the uniqueness that is entirely yours.

Your guests want to help make your wedding day exactly what you want it to be, and the best way to “help them help you” is to clearly communicate your wishes. In this section, we will schedule, select, design and write your Save-the-Dates, Invitations, Wedding Website and Welcome Letters, as well as discuss and create and social media groups or hashtags that you might want.

Creating a strong structure for the week and weekend of your wedding will ensure that you can enjoy every minute of your destination stay. Throughout this section, we will create a detailed week timeline, plan an intimate and personal ceremony, create weather and contingency plans (that you will hopefully never use!) and design and chart seating, floor plans, and event flow for an optimal wedding experience for all.

This planning section sets the tone for your planning process over the next few months! We will explore the exciting beginning of the planning process – creating your preliminary planning and weekend timeline, announcing your engagement, and thinking about your bridal showers, engagement parties, bachelor/bachelorette events. We will also discuss selecting your bridal party, creating your preliminary guest list, developing your storyboard and setting up your Pinterest account, and choosing your date range. Most importantly, we will create a comprehensive wedding budget that will guide your decisions in the modules to come!

Evaluation and selection of possible destinations and venues for your ceremony, reception, lodging and other ancillary events (Welcome Receptions, Rehearsal Dinners, Brunches, Luncheons and Group Activities) will be the focus during this Section. We will work together to consider venue types, lodging options and contracts, destination weather, reception styles, and the difference between on site and off site options. Once your destination selction has been made, we will adjust your wedding budget to reflect destination and venue costs for food and beverage, average vendor costs, and common additional fees and costs specific to your wedding destination.
